Stingrays, Sharks and many more at the Manila Ocean Park

Is your summer getaway seeks for an authentic feel of the underwater? Want to be transported into a totally different world but hates to be submerged and scuba diving isn't your thing? Then the 26 meter underwater tunnel of Manila Ocean Park could give you an unforgettable deep sea excitement minus the wet!

Getting inside the Oceanarium is like watching your favorite Disney movie. Catch your favorite ocean characters like Nemo, Oscar and Lenny of Shark Tale! They're all here live! It's like a concert of fishes! Check out this short self-edited video I made during our trip.

Here are some of the charming, the stunning, the scary and the most "fishy" creatures kids and young at heart will surely enjoy!
a Shark's Tale?
whitespotted bamboo shark egg
snowflake moray eel or igat
yellow boxfish
spotted garden eel
common lionfish or ranuy ranuy
razorfish
stingray
porcupine fish or buteteng laot
stonefish

The richness and diversity of a clean and green marine life is very much evident here. But I hope it's not just for the "show". Nevertheless, I would like to commend the management for not just bringing the ocean life to us but most importantly in trying to inspire its visitors to be vigilant and to practice loving the sea and it's life underneath.

I strongly recommend Manila Ocean Park. A journey of man to bask in the unknown, unseen and unforgettable underwater experience.

Would you like to see a talking fish? Or spend a night with the mystical Maiden of the Sea? See her at the Manila Ocean Park's Acquatica.
