Resort Hopping at Lake Sebu

Armed with a Lake Sebu brochure, me and cousins Marianne and Charlen went resort hopping last June. From our start off point at Balben Family Cove, our first stop for the day is Lake Sebu's Tourism Lodge.
Tourism Lodge
Lemobung Lodge and Restaurant also known as Tourism Lodge is owned by the Local Government Unit. The site brings back old memories - flashback 1996, that was the first building we visited for a very short stop over. Anyway, we tried to get their brochure but were informed that their office is open only during Mondays to Thursdays, that day was a Friday. So off to our next stop, the Monte Cielo Resort.
tables and benches at Monte Cielo
Located at Purok Pag-asa, Monte Cielo Resort offers vibrant benches that lets visitors see Lake Sebu mountains and the lake at a higher elevation point. Another high lake resort is the Mountain Log Lake Resort.

Coming here with all these pine trees embracing you feels like being in Baguio plus the lake. We were accompanied by a staff member to check out their rooms. It also has a high tower, notably seen from the road, where one can see the whole view of Lake Sebu. If you, however want to experience a boat trip at the lake, better check out Estares Resort.

Located at Poblacion, Estares contains a number of lakeside cottages and is among the pioneering lake resorts in town. We stayed there for a while since it already started to rain. Some few minutes more, we headed out to our last stop, Lake Sebu's most well known resort, the Punta Isla Lake Resort.
Floating Restaurant

We were welcomed by a charming native music at their beautiful entrance gate. Next to be seen is a monkey named Poknat. We headed out to one of its attraction, the Floating Restaurant/Cottage. Don't miss out a couple of T'boli women near their souvenir shop.

There are a lot more resorts to be seen here at Lake Sebu. Sadly a day is not enough to appreciate the many lakeside charms this province has to offer. So for your next out of town trip, you might want to consider staying a day or two here at the many lakeside resorts.
