Budget Tips

1. Travel in group. In our case, we were group of 9 who shared expenses on transportation, guide fees and even on food.
2. Bring your own baon. We have limited time in Sagada that we chose to prioritize the tour than having a proper meal but we're glad we have enough baon on our packs.
3. Bring water. I bought about a liter of water during one of our stop overs on the way to Banaue. I also have with me my own water bottle to refill during trekking.
4. If you're still young, can manage long commutes, and is not afraid to ask the locals, stay away from packaged tours. Do your own research and plot your own trip.
