Henry Miller once said, “One’s destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things.”

As a former media practitioner, I thrive to frequently come up with feel good travel videos of nature, animals and human filmed and edited as my personal souvenir gem documenting my road trip experiences, gastronomic adventures, cultural immersions and eco-tour activities. You can watch some of my work here.

When I was in kindergarten, I always carry with me a little brown reading book I use in school. It contains short children stories, poems and fables with cute pictures I would copy and draw - it was my childhood treasure. I am a proud owner of that book for 20 years! When I got into elementary, my eyes sparkled at the very first travel book I read. It was the book that introduced me to the world and marvel at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Eiffel Tower, Grand Canal of Venice, Hanging Garden of Babylon, Niagara Falls and even the Wax Museum. That book was "Places to Know". High school was the time my creativity really picked up - joining art contests and ultimately leading the school's Arts Club. By the time I entered college I got to own my very first manual SLR and had the first opportunity to develop a film roll inside the university's Dark Room. Eventually, my first job made me taste the life behind the camera working for the Philippines leading media network and entered the world of TV Production.

May 27, 2008 marks the birthday of this blog (just few days after my birthday), sharing an all girl Getaway at Puerto Galera launching as my very first blog post.

We always learn something new when we travel, when we go out there and explore. Some places inspires us to write about it and some destinations would just make us bring out our camera and take shots like there's no tomorrow. I live to TRAVEL. I want to discover the world, see the sights and savor the scents of all things strange and foreign. And I will start taking notes, photos and videos here in my beloved Philippines.
